Baked Salmon Steaks
Baked Salmon???!!! Help meee?
I need a quick and easy recipe…
What spices should I use on the Salmon, should I use olive oil? and can I eat hot sauce with it like I do with cod fish?
Dilled Baked Salmon Steaks :
4 salmon steaks
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon very finely minced onion
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1/2 teaspoon dried dill
Place salmon steaks in a buttered baking dish. Combine lemon juice and onion; sprinkle a little over each salmon steak. Season with salt and pepper. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for about 20 minutes, or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Remove from oven; spread sour cream over salmon steaks. Sprinkle with lemon zest and dill. Return to the oven for 3 minutes.
Serve salmon steaks with lemon wedges.
ps: you can add some chopped pimento to the sour cream…. for an extra edge to the taste
