How do I get my home baked bread to be nice and soft?
I’ve been baking bread from scratch (without a bread machine) and whilst it has turned out OK, both loaves have had a quite dense texture. Is there a recipe for very soft bread or a technique I should use? Also, would bread improver help?
I don’t plan to use a bread machine or purchase one so please don’t include links to ones I should buy or suggest I should use one. Thanks!
you are probally doing everything right but what i find is that alot of people just leave their dough to rise for 30min, i leave mine for 45min – 1h and then its really light and in perfect condition to bake, just try not to handle it to much after its risen.
