Okay so i only want to do half as much as these recipes say but i don’t know if that’s okay. I mean is there any ingredients that i need cut in half? is there some that i need to keep the same even though it’s only half?

Thanks!

yes,
by dividing the 1/3 cup of an ingredient into tablespoons, for instance, 5 Tablespoons and 1 teaspoon then into teaspoons, 16 teaspoons.

So half of 1/3 cup is 8 teaspoons or 2 tbsp + 2 tsp

I do this all the time to divide a recipe in half, in quarters when trying out a new recipe or wanting only a small batch.

I paste the original recipe in word and then paste a copy to modify to half or quarter size.

It always works for me, as long as the proportions are the same.

Pans sizes and volume
Jelly Roll 10 1/2 x 15 1/2 x 1 is 10 cups

Around Half of pan size is
Loaf 8 x 4 x 2 1/2 in. is 4 cups
or
8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 in. is 6 cups
