Whats the difference between greasing a baking tin with butter,?

and greasing it with butter and then dusting it with flour?

Is one more non-stick than the other?
thanks for any help.

I get much better results when greasing a pan with shortening.
Of course, I always use parchment paper in the bottom of the pan, put the paper down on to the greased pan, grease the top of the paper and then sprinkle sugar over it, (instead of flour). Next comes the cake batter.
