Low Carb Baking

low carb vegetarian, not enough calories?

So Im new at being a vegetarian and ive been on a low carb diet..
All I can think of whats low carb is eggs, tofu and some veges though =/ is there like.. ANYTHING else?
Im trying to keep my carbs under 20.

Low carb protein shakes, low carb protein bars, and low carb baking mixes.

You can find all of these at a health food store- ( GNC, Vitamin hoppe, etc.)
Look for AAt kin’sproducts, anything that says Low Carb, or Ketogenic, or ask the person for help of course.

Also all kinds of nuts would be good, bean sprouts, and most vegetables, salad.

Salad too. Also try to include lots of fats in your diet- Vegetable oil, corn oil, – my favorite, extra virin olive oil.’

Avocado is a fruit that is very low in carbs, and high in healthy fats and proteins for a fruits.

Like you say, your goal is to keep your calories high, and your protein too.

Remeber, that you can delete fiber from your total carb count, which makes some cereals compatible with your diet.

This diet is a bit challenging, but it is do-able. If you are a vegetarian who eats fish, you can of course eat fish as well.

and if you are a vegetarian who eats dairy. most cheeses have only about a gram of carbs per slice… Also, there is a milk called “Carb Countdown”, that is low in carbs, and almost every brand makes a low carb ice cream now.

Good luck.
